Best PE/VC opportunities in Colorado?

Currently doing MBB in Boston and thinking about exit ops in growth equity tech/VC. For personal reasons am really interested in Colorado (Denver/Boulder) and have heard that there is a growing scene there, but don't really know anything about it myself. Is anyone familiar with the area and know what the best firms/opportunities are?

The Denver scene is still a pretty small world, and a lot of these places will focus on Colorado companies. Rubicon, Partners, Mountaingate, Excellre, Copley (Boston/Denver, might be interesting for you) on the PE side. VC leans small and early stage but look into Foundry, Access, Boulder Ventures, Stout Street, Sequel, Meritage to name a few
