Big4 TS to Growth Equity (London)

Hey all,

I'm a first-year analyst working in Big4 TS in the TMT team, also studying towards my ACA

Hoping to get some advice for moving from Big4 to Growth Equity in London

  1. Is it a pre-requisite to move into Banking first before I can seriously consider my chances for reputable growth equity firms

or is there a chance to recruit directly into Growth Equity firms after completing my ACA

  2. Is the Transaction Services skillset relevant/valuable or should I try and look to make a move into my firms Corp Fin/M&A division if I can

  3.  Shall I try to lateral into banking before I complete my ACA / 3-year graduate program in order to give myself the best chance of breaking in

Any advice at all would be appreciated

Thanks in advance :)
