MM GE ~200k give or take 10K all in post IB 2 years --> 1st year associate. Have a hard data point. Could be firm specific but that's what my friend pulls lol
GE comp in general slightly lower the traditional buy-out. If you understand the way each type of firm makes money you'd understand why
I truly do not understand people these days, comp is mostly standardized at all firms.
And eitherway people make career decisions not only based on pay but based on 1) interests and then 2) take the best shop they can get in that category that fits their bill - be it fund size, industry focus, culture, MBA placement or direct partner track etc.
I don't really get what's the point of these threads for IB/PE/GE roles
This is a finance forum. It's logical to assume people pursuing finance are interested in the very thing it deals with... money. As it pertains to them that's in the form of compensation. idk why his question isn't valid.

What’s comp like at the associate level? Also, do most GE firms make you get an MBA like MFPE firms?

analyst or associate?
That's analyst pay. I know Insight associate pay is not sub 200k.
