Contacting VC Firm - Strong Experience, No "Connection"

I am currently an Engagement Manager at a Strategy Consulting firm specializing in a somewhat niche technology (e.g., FinTech, HealthTech, etc.). While performing some research, I recently stumbled across a hybrid early-stage / growth equity VC fund with ~$1B AUM and ~20 employees that invests in the exact companies I work with. I have experience advising PE firms and corporates in acquisitions for their target firms as well as developing growth strategies so I think this fund would be a great fit - they work very closely with the firms they invest in to develop growth strategies and add value and based on their employee bios they've hired strategy consultants in the past (although they are the minority so I understand I don't have as good of a shot as someone with a VC/PE background).

I don't know anyone at this fund so I wanted to ask the forum - what are some of the best ways to reach out to a VC fund? They have multiple office locations (SF, NYC, one more regional one), should I reach out to the office I prefer? Is HR the best contact or should I contact someone around my level? Are there recruiters I should go through? I've searched all of their employees on LinkedIn and we don't have any connections in common I'd feel comfortable reaching out for a warm intro.

Apologies if these questions come across as naive, I've only ever worked for big corporations so the small fund world is quite new to me.

Thanks!

Reach out to the location prefer, try GPs, if they don't get back, send a follow up email in a week, then if that doesn't work try the next GP, if none of them work try a Principal, go on down the org chart, keep this all organized in a spreadsheet, if you get a call with one of them make sure to know all their portcos in and out

Also look to see which HH they use (they're big so they might) or look on johngannonblog to see when the last time they hired was and who the contact was
