Exit Opps from VC associate? (Cleantech)

Would be grateful for your thoughts (I’ve reviewed the forum to ensure this Q hasn’t been answered prior):
What exit opportunities typically exist after serving in a VC associate role (e.g LA, ~1-2B AUM)?
Other than moving to another fund, that is. For example, I don’t see evidence that junior VCs move to MBB. But perhaps this is possible?
Thoughts appreciated as I navigate my career.
Why are you wanting to leave?
You could go to a startup and do product, strategic finance, ops, or whatever other role you might want depending on your skillset and the stage of the company.
But for many people, you're in the exit opportunity now.
