Growth Equity Advice

I'm starting an internship with a PE firm specialising in growth equity. They also do some late stage VC and some LBO's.

Regarding modelling, what should I really brush up on, assuming I will be involved in mainly the growth equity deals?

Firm focuses on tech firms if that makes a difference...

know how to calc returns in a model and understand what your PE firm is looking for in companies.

Understanding patents, licensing, other business stuff might help depending on what kind of tech your doing.
