Incoming first year interested in growth equity in Chicago. Obviously, not as many firms as SF or NY. Was wondering who some of the players are- know of Adams Street Partners. Thanks!

Not just consumer these days I think, if not deploying currently (think they've been doing non-consumer for a while?) then about to be not just consumer.
don't think they've ever been a consumer growth only fund. They made their name in growth with the founder's involvement with Musk but they do have a fund seeded by Starbucks that is focused on C&R/food tech
