Growth Equity - NYC

Thought I would start an updated forum for GE in NYC. What are the best firms in NYC and when will hiring pick back up do you think? Is consumer dead? What are the top recruiters for GE?

Guess I’ll start…the ones I know with an office in the area (I’m in the software world, less consumer, though some of the below do both):

Insight, GA, Warburg, Stripes, Lead Edge, Long Ridge, Brighton Park (in CT), Apax Growth, Level Equity, Aquiline Growth, Catalyst Investors, Edison (in NJ), Centana, TCV and Sumeru also have people out there but are more West Coast based

Could you rank these on comp and exits? Curious what analyst comp looks like at these firms
