Growth equity shops for non-traditional candidates
I have been told repeatedly of Summit, TA, TCV, GA as the top shops for growth equity but I wanted to explore what other shops should I target considering I am a non traditional candidate (I haven't done banking, been in tech equity research).
I want to be realistic since recruiters have largely ignored me. I am less concerned about compensation or name recognition but my focus is on getting good experience that will help me in career progression.

You'll have to target much smaller firms. The bigger the firm the more regimented and strict the recruiting process is.
