How many start-ups can an associate realistically source a year?
Hi guys,
I'm incredibly interested in VC and I would like some opinions from experienced VC analysts /associates on what is a realistic number for total start-ups sourced in a year? And of those how many of these start-ups are actually recommended to the partners (or who do you recommend it to)? Please also mention/talk about your region / fund size / AUM for your firm. Sorry if this is dumb but this is the best resource for high finance imo.
We track it very loosely but think it's easily 100-200 a year which is like 2-4 meetings on avg a week over a year. One conference can be like 20 meetings in few days and then there are weeks with few if any. Maybe 1 in 5 gets a deeper look. Early stage with few billions of aum in eu
