How to move into top VC after IB M&A at an EB | London

Very interested in pivoting into a top VC with strong brand name (e.g. Sequoia, Accel, Insight etc.) with offices in London. Have approx. 3 years experience in IB M&A across EBs and MMs shops. Since then have been working (for approx. 1 year) as founder / operator / IR for startups in the i) Decentralised logistics and ii) EduTech spaces. In both instances was part of the founding team.

Currently looking to exit this and move to a top VC. What is the best way to do this? From reading WSO posts, most say networking is hyper important for VC. What's the best way to reach out to VC employees to open up conversations about hiring into these VC firms and who should you be messaging (e.g. Partner level and above?). From what I see on LinkedIn, there are not many internal hiring teams at these VC firms (although please let me know if wrong). Is it better to contact HHs? I see a few people have had HHs reach out on behalf off top firms such as Sequoia - which HHs cover the top firms?

London VC its nearly impossible to get a vc investment role right now given the downtown. Esp at one of the shops you mentioned. But I would focus on networking with people at the funds, helping them source deals, and connecting with KEA/PER.
