Joint Venture Analyst to VC Analyst

I'm working at a company that specializes in joint ventures this summer, and they said that they would hire me full-time if I do a good job at the internship. Would I be able to get into venture capital after a few years working at this firm with good networking?

what kind of question is this? like, what's the point? yes it's possible- anything is

please try to make your questions a little more substantiative/ less unspecific

.

I guess what I wanted to ask is if I could reasonably expect to get into VC firms without b-school and/or top executive/partner connections from this joint venture firm. I know for a fact that a senior partner at this joint venture firm that I have significant connections to has extensive networks to PE and VC firms all over the country.
