LP to VC
I have an interview with a partner at a VC firm. I did 2 years on the LP side and am trying to break into the VC side. What specific questions would I be asked coming from this side (on top of normal VC questions)?
Definitely seen this done but if you can share a little bit more about your background or where you are looking to join then I think you might be more useful ideas or suggestions.
Can you share what stage of VC you are looking at? Early stage, mid or late stage?
What was your focus in your LP role? Funds or co-invest? Buyout, growth or VC?
Is the LP you worked for known to allocate a higher proportion to VC or known for well performing VC co-investments (or direct if they did that)?
Background: fund investing for 2 years at E&F, no co-investing, lot of VC fund investing
