Any of the Ivies - if I had to choose personally I would go for Columbia University.
Yes ivies such as Cornell and YSOM have awesome placement into PE and VC in NYC -_-
probably best bet are HSW Chicago MIT and Columbia

should definitely focus your efforts on harvard and stanford for PEVC
If he doesn't already know this, then his odds of getting into PE/VC post-MBA are pretty slim.
