Moving back to consulting if venture capital doesn't float my boat

Hi guys, I'm at a bit of a career crossroads. I'm wondering if it would be possible to move back to consulting if venture capital isn't for me. I like consulting but I feel like I can't miss out on trying VC. What do you think? I'm thinking if I don't like it, go get an MBA and do OCR again. Thoughts?
