Startup after IB SA
Hi monkeys, I started a startup with a couple of friends before my summer in IB and we are grinding it out. I'm having some difficulties dedicating time to it because it's stressing with school and stuff and while I love the stuff we're doing in the startup, it's really hard to deal with my co-founders and all the struggles that we are facing as a company. We're revenue positive and we offer a service that's already had repeat customers but I have two semesters left and I signed my offer + this stuff is stressing me out. How valuable will this be on my resume, plus, is it worth it to suffer things out and keep going? I'm not thinking of quitting in a serious way, but these thoughts enter my mind when I find myself at 2 AM with a contract secured and stressing out for no realistic reason. I ask all this because this thing is growing and could scale fast, but then again, it's not like it's gonna happen any time soon. Thoughts?
I think if you can actually build something it can be a huge selling point on any resume. If you can actually get it to a point where you can hire employees your workload will be much less, and then you can continue to operate it from a far. However being at a bank will not really allow you to run a business.
