Thrive Capital?
Any insights on Thrive Capital? Josh Kushner’s VC fund? They seem to be quite large. Heard that the investment team is small but that’s because they have a separate portfolio impact team. Any other insights or personal experiences would be great as there are literally no threads on here.

I'm sorry, but it looks like this may be out of my ability to answer... maybe some of the links below might help?
absolute tier 1 in the Bay Area, spoke to one of their partners before durning DD super sharp
Are they not NY based?or do they also have a Bay Area office
Yes they’re NY based. That said they’re super legit, top decile returns, Kushner is Altman’s closest VC advisor, kill it in the growth game
was referring to their presence in the Bay Area
Thrive is one of the best in the business, and one of the most aggressive. They're one of the rare funds that is both strong at early stage and growth investments. The only other multistage firms I can say that for are Sequoia and Founders Fund. Very lean investment team, extremely sharp.
what do you mean by sharp?
Smart. Josh/Miles/Kareem who are the main partners there are some of the smartest VCs in the industry. Their alums are insanely bright & accomplished too: Will Gaybrick is the #2 or #3 top exec at Stripe, Jared Weinstein who was a presidential aide, and Chris Paik who started his own fund. Josh has an uncanny ability to hire great young talent.
Do they even invest in Seed deals or do they only lead the handful of Series A-C deals a year?
They do more than just seed, they're known for incubating from scratch. Oscar, Imprint, Cedar, Capsule to name a few. I think they've incubated close to a dozen companies. I'd listen to the Invest Like the Best interview with Josh to get more insight into their strategy.
