VC healthcare Cold Email review

Hello Guys, currently based in London, would be nice if I could get some advice on my cold email template. I had to take out my course, to not be identified, however it would be very useful if you could also PM me, so I can disclose my course and perhaps get a few more hints/chances of success. Wouldn't mind sending my resume either.

Many thanks guys!

Dear xxxxx

I am a psychotherapist, studying through TARGET's MSc. in Pharma/Management, and graduated in Hard Science/Management (different TARGET, within last 24 months). The programme allows for a placement, and I personally want to gain a working understanding of VC healthcare, where my technical background could be applied in analysing entrepreneurial activity.

I am therefore inquiring on the possibility of undertaking such work with you, given your coverage of healthcare and investments in xxxxxxxxxxxxx. If you don't mind talking, I've attached my resume for context.

Many thanks for your time,

xxxxxx

They will literally never respond to this. Instead, try to do some research and find some common ground you both share. Find associates that are in the space and share an interesting hypothesis you may have. Ask them to review a thesis you've written. Cold emails in VC are tough.
