JPM PB roles
Hi,
I have recently learned about JPM's Private Banking division and am considering applying for a position there next year. I think I understand the difference between the two types of roles: Advisor role (more client-facing, banker, relationship manager) vs Investment solutions role (more technical, strategist, assist with product development that you are providing clients), but what I am confused about is where these roles are located.
Are the investment solutions roles located at every private bank branch, or are they only located at bigger regional branches like Houston, New York, Chicago, etc.?
I think as of now I am more interested in the investment solutions roles, but I would love to get a full picture of the entire structure of the Private Bank at JPM (heirarchy, comp, exit opps).
Also lastly, is there anyway to know how competitive these positions are? From what I see there are a ton of locations, but on average how many analyst spots are there at each location.
Please feel free to leave any and all info below. Thanks!
Dm me. Worked there last summer
