A2A Sign On Bonus
Since some banks across the street have changed base salaries at the associate level, was wondering what analyst to associate promotion sign ons are these days. What is street these days? Seems like historically there has been a range around 40k-60k. Would be good to hear what BBs pay have been paying out recently. Thanks.
My understanding was that they'd get their A3 bonus paid out earlier during the year and their A0 stub bonus paid out at the end. I would think a signing bonus would be excluded since, you know, they didn't sign on to the shop from business school or anything, but idk - YMMV
I'm not sure if that's right, sign-ons for A2A promotes are standard as far as I've heard. That's not to say that every single bank does it, but I think >70% do.
MM. 40k sign-on.
Timeframe: June 30th: A2A sign-on July 1: Bump to ASO salary (150k) Mid August: AN3 Bonus Feb: ASO Stub Bonus
That makes for a decent year
Were you promoted from a 3rd year analyst or 2nd year?
