Absurd How Many Women Grossly Hide Their Weight in Dating Apps
Basically, I'm a decent looking dude, 6'2. Kinda lean but not exactly jacked. Not against being with a woman that has slight curves.
Literally every woman I have met on a dating app that has slight curves is using pics that are like 5 years outdated & she has now put on 50-100 pounds. It's obscene.
The only comparable thing would be like a guy who is 5'4 saying that he's 6'4.
I have never insulted the women in person. I just ghost them when they want a second date.
I have nothing against the body positivity movement. If you want to put on weight, do whatever the heck you want, it's your body. But making it out like you are 80 lbs skinnier than you actually are is outright deceptive.

Cap... Guys who are 5'10 might say they are 6'0. Guys who are 6'2 may say they are 6'4. Never will you see guys stretch their height anywhere near to the same extent as women who misrepresent what they actually look like today vs. pics.
You misunderstood me. What I meant was that men misrepresent their weight all the time too. Outdated photos are regularly used to cover up weight gain, so this isn’t a female only issue :-)
Do morning coffee dates or drinks. Have saved myself so much time that way. Both allow you to dip really quickly if she misrepresented herself.
i'm not against paying for dinner or lunch, I would actually prefer morning coffee dates or drinks but it could turn a few women off thinking it's too 'low effort.'
Mate this is probably your fault. Do DD before the date (find them on facebook and see if pics look recent), or just do a better job of picking the right women - VAST majority of girls on apps dont do this, unless you are like in your 40s and then I cant help ya.
I have been with well over 100 women from dating apps and can think of maybe only 2 where she showed up heavier than I imagined. Most of that was my fault too, beware if her pics are only neck up and no body shots.

This is the logical thing that most guys and girls would do before going on a date through an Ap. Of course, you should look at FB, Insta, Twitter, Linkedin and where ever you can find photos of them. Girls use social media a lot and like posting photos of themselves on it.
If anything you’re too nice. If you show up to the date and she’s 50-100 lbs fatter than her pictures then you should be leaving right away. Don’t even bother with the first date.
This is your fault man. This is a well known thing in dating apps and when I was single and crushing the app scene, it became very apparent of the chick was going to be a potentially fatty.
Simple due diligence is all that is needed. If even one pic is from the top down, group photo, blurry, only face or from far away, even one, you need to be on fatty alert.
If you even start to ponder she might be lying, she is. As your texting and she is out, just send a pic of yourself and say you’d love to see one back of whatever she is doing. If she for some reason doesn’t want to send a harmless out and about photo you know it’s fat time.
In the future, ask to video chat or meet for one drink or coffee, and live to fight another day. You’re welcome. And don’t kid yourself, guys lie too.
I’ve found that if you check the Insta it is legit.
The bigger danger is when they have a nice as fuck body but you can tell deep down that they're just coasting on genetics and they'll get fat in a couple years.
The biggest danger is matching with a 9.5 and wondering how high on the crazy scale she actually is.

Maybe I'm being a bit harsh but I'd judge any girl outside of those with really demanding careers (like IB) that are using a dating app. Those who use apps are typically hiding something whether it be height, weight, looks, personality, EQ, IQ, etc.
How old are you? Judging someone for being on dating apps is like judging someone for being on facebook. It's ubiquituous now.
I'm Gen Z. It's ubiquitous among average people or people who have something they're hiding. The attractive/nice girls are looking for guys in-person whether that be the gym, the bar, random concert, etc. and I can say this from personal experience. There are a lot of girls who don't have much of a social media presence (particularly those who lean attractive), because they don't want creepy random guys DMing them all the time, which is a known occurrence. They want more than a bot to be a BF. Sure, I guess you'll have to actually talk and become friends rather than just swiping/texting, but the field out there is far better for people who can actually have engaging conversations and talk to people in person.
I'm getting MSed by people who complain about not being able to find anyone despite making a great salary and living in a big city and then turn around and make comments like OP or imply that every attractive girl is "crazy" (see earlier in this thread) .
