Advice on Exchange Destination in U.S?
Background:
A sophomore studying in Hong Kong, one of the three top local universities. Aspired to break into IB and now seeking for an exchange destination in the US for my penultimate year.
Destinations:
The university I am studying in doesnt have Ivy League Partnership. I would love to know which of the following would be the best in you guys opinion. I would love to have a mixture of both networking opportunities and enjoy the US lifestyle, instead of just all-in studying.
Emory University - Goizueta Business School
University of South Carolina - Darla Moore School of Business
University of Notre Dame
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill - Kenan-Flagler Business School
University of Southern California - Marshall School of Business
University of Texas at Austin - McCombs School of Business
University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business (heard that it is kinda boring in Michigan)
I guess that's the school I am having in mind, any comments? All comments are appreciated!

Notre Dame or Michigan are the best.
Michigan isn’t too boring, Ann Arbor is a nice college town, it is just cold and snowy as fuck in the winter. Same goes for Notre Dame
I agree with this and would add that UMich also has a fun party campus. UT Austin is not far behind in terms of academics and you get many of the same attributes with a warmer climate.
Actually, i am struggling with 4 particular school cuz i am not sure the difference in lifestyle across difference state. I would love to travel around US during my holidays.
Thinking about Texas, Notre Dame, Michigan and Southern California How do they rank in term of reputation, the undergrad business program as well as the life inside?
They're all very solid. Michigan has the best placement for IB in NYC and USC does very well on the west coast. Notre Dame is the hardest to get into, but does not place as well as Michigan (still places very well). Texas also places well in NYC as well, but there is a focus on texas-based banks. All are good schools for a social life with my slightly uninformed opinion placing Notre Dame slightly below the others. All have good sports programs as well.
TLDR: Can't go wrong with any of those four.
This is biased as I'm a UNC student, but I would highly recommend UNC for a good balance of a typical American college experience and good networking. UNC's business school is also small (class size of 350) which allows you to get to know faculty and other students. Would be happy to answer any more questions as well.

I would do USC if you don't want to get bored, but keep in mind that there are tons of asians there already
by USC, i assume u are referring to SoCal instead of South Carolina. LA is really a good city, I went there once and it never went out of entertainment!
Actually the major concern now is, any big hub in the west coast for IB, HF, PE. As far as i know, New York and Boston are the major financial hub but they are all in the east. So I wonder, where will I aiming for networking if I am in the west. Tho of course, I am just coming here for half a year, not really trying to get a full-time offer through networking but more like knowing different people and different practise in different geographical region.
