Akuna Capital Jr. Trader Online Test
Has anyone taken this in the past year or two? I have 2 weeks to prepare for this and have been practicing on the usual websites (zetamac, tradermaths, arithemtic.lemo, etc). I can get around 60-75 on zetamac consistently in 5 mins, however I've heard their mental math is more decimal focused.
Also, how high should I be able to do two digit multiples? Like do they ask questions such as 39x72?

Yeah I took this SOB, it's just a ton of multiplication and division. As far as multiplication goes, the smaller number will never be bigger than two digits. However, the second number can and will be as big as four or five digits (don't really remember well because it's been over a year). So be prepared for 28*3224

How was the sequence portion?
Also, do you know if you passed if you don't mind me asking?
The sequences start easy but get massive. The trick is to difference them over and over again until the pattern becomes apparent. I don't recall if I passed, I don't think it gives you any result at the end.
This is quite an exaggeration, at least compared to my experience with the test half a year ago. I was applying for an internship, but I imagine that the content is similar. There definitely were a couple of stupidly hard questions, but I just skipped those as soon as possible with a random answer and managed to move on. In the final round, I only got asked two-digit-by-two-digit problems. Practicing 2837x52 is a waste of time imo compared to doing sequences, getting faster at easier problems, and preparing for market making games.

Was it multiple choice or fill in the blank?
All fill in the blank. My format was one section of pure math questions, one of sequences (also no pen/paper). I didn't have a set number of problems, just one after the other with no option to go back after submitting one. It may have been endless. Mental math was a combination of +-x/^, with some questions involving multiple operations (though those had easier numbers). tradermaths.com is closer to the test than zetamac, but both are helpful. With default settings on tradermaths, aim to consistently finish early (don't go back and check your answers) with a 70+. I was getting 35-40 on the 2 minute Zetamac trial when I took it. Most of the sequences are hard, and it seemed like they just kept getting harder the more you did, so you can't just skip all the tricky ones. To practice sequences, https://mentalmath.online/sequences/ is a decent website. Put your settings as "easy" and "random". Even on easy, I think the sequences there are a bit harder than the average Akuna one.
