  1. What made you want to exit IB into entrepreneurship? And why start a market research company?
  2. How did you get capital to start your companies and also invest in real estate, just savings from your years at GS or other sources of income?

Could you please elaborate how did you manage to get your first SA/Analyst stint without any relevant experience and a non-core school?

 

Good question - I wish I had developed more conceptual understanding of finance. But the experience was more focused on process and running the deal. And that's great bcz that's what a banker does but there was a learning curve for sure in actually working as an investor. I also wished I'd learned more about competitive analysis and how to compare different industries for growth potential.
