Analyst Recruitement - Europe

Hi! I have read a lot on the forum about the PE recruiting process but not so much on how you get the offers in the first place, especially in Europe. I have a MEng i.e. no knowledge on how the PE recruiting process usually works. I have a relevant resume for an analyst position (3x internships: 6-month in VC, 6-month in Infrastructure, 6-month incoming in Consumer) but I don’t know where to look. I got all my previous internships through online applications, so I have no experience on how it “usually” works.

If I got it right, the usual process is through headhunters? If yes:
- How does it usually work? Is it the same than in the US? Should I contact them or is it the other way around?
- Does headhunting address to entry-level position? I had in mind that it was more for post-MBA / senior-level positions.
- If they must contact me: as a graduate in engineering, how do I make myself “visible”?
- Do you go to them with a specific idea – for example MM in London in tech for $/year – or do they propose you what they think will suit the best for a company and eventually for you?
- Are the main HHs really industry and size focus?

Thx a lot!

PS: keep in mind that i'm asking in Europe!
