Any advise for a 2.7er
I am currently a junior at a target school with a 2.7. What can I do to get an interview. I am confident that once I have an interview I can make something happen. Should I not put my gpa on my resume? Should I "round" up to 3.0?
no no no no no no rounding up
really, i have friends that rounded up from like 2.6 or 2.5 to like 3.3.
which target?
I wouldn't roud up, it would completely ruin your chances forever

I mean, some people will get through unchecked but that depends how big of a risk taker you are when it involves your career and reputation; not only money
I believe he said Princeton in another thread.
As for rounding up, it's probably not smart. From what I have read, they do check to confirm whatever you put on your resume. Just put the 2.7 and own up to it. You got into Princeton; you're a smart chap, so figure out how to explain your shortcoming in a smooth way.
I wouldnt do it, but there is something that makes it easier. Princeton doesn't list GPAs on the official transcript. They just list the grades next to the credits. So, if you were to glance at the thing, you prolly couldnt tell a 2.7 from a 3.2.
plus, this semester i am prolly doing like a 3.0. So if i end up with a 2.8 i can prolly go up to 3.3.
i doubt that banks actually calculate the gpa. that would take like 15mins.
You are obviously Dan Bush. It shows through in the stuff that you write, your posting style, and more. But it's ok, because at least your'e being honest now.
You're right. I am obviously Dan Bush. How do we know you're not Dan Bush?
Because, for example, I know how to edit my own posts instead of replying to them three times in a row.
[by the way: "we"? There is no "we." ]
Can you give me a break? I just joined the foum some 10 hours ago. I know this is a banking forum, but man, the intensity is uncanny. Or maybe we have a Dan Bush takeover.
Dan, shut the fuck up, we know it's you, just chill out and take it easy.
This guy really sounds like Dan Bush.
the admin should just ban his IP.
Well, clearly I am not welcome on this forum. Thanks for answering my question. I appreciate the efforts of the serious posters. This Dan Bush must have really screwed with you guys. You- clearly long for Dan Bush.
What a Dan thing to say..
he is dan bush i know dan what's ur fucking problem
He probably jerks off to the Vault Guide.
And what's wrong with jerking off to the Vault Guide?
"Any advise for a 2.7er"...
Dude, it's advi"C"e
advi"C"e. As in, "C" student.
Study a bit more you retard....2.7???? What problem(s) do u have?
I'm obviously getting asked for my college grades on the applications. Now, there were two exams I took in first year which, for a variety of reasons (mainly to do with first year immaturity), I failed. I was then required to take repeat exams in them, which, happily, I aced with nearly full marks. That brought my overall score for the year from a good grade to an excellent grade. Question: What do I need to say on the application? Should I simply report my final score, or do I need to mention that I took repeat exams? As far as the university is concerned, my overall grade for the year was the one received after the repeats, so I'm guessing that is what I should report. Thankfully, I've aced all the exams since first year so I'm in a good position to put forward a strong academic record. The only problem I have is how to report my first year marks. Thanks for the help.
