I believe he said Princeton in another thread.

As for rounding up, it's probably not smart. From what I have read, they do check to confirm whatever you put on your resume. Just put the 2.7 and own up to it. You got into Princeton; you're a smart chap, so figure out how to explain your shortcoming in a smooth way.

How to save a life:
Can you give me a break? I just joined the foum some 10 hours ago. I know this is a banking forum, but man, the intensity is uncanny. Or maybe we have a Dan Bush takeover.

Dan, shut the fuck up, we know it's you, just chill out and take it easy.

I'm obviously getting asked for my college grades on the applications. Now, there were two exams I took in first year which, for a variety of reasons (mainly to do with first year immaturity), I failed. I was then required to take repeat exams in them, which, happily, I aced with nearly full marks. That brought my overall score for the year from a good grade to an excellent grade. Question: What do I need to say on the application? Should I simply report my final score, or do I need to mention that I took repeat exams? As far as the university is concerned, my overall grade for the year was the one received after the repeats, so I'm guessing that is what I should report. Thankfully, I've aced all the exams since first year so I'm in a good position to put forward a strong academic record. The only problem I have is how to report my first year marks. Thanks for the help.
