Applying online at Credit Suisse, keep getting rejected super fast
Anyone apply online on the Credit Suisse website recently? Is it just me or do they review and reject applications with a next day turnaround?
I apply one night and the next morning usually in between 9-10am, I get a notification that a message was sent to me. I log in to Credit Suisse and it's a rejection. I find another opening and apply for that, but the same result the next morning. I saw one other opening that I thought was a good fit for and the same result the next day.
Sounds like all of their spots have been filled. To be honest, I've never heard of anyone getting an interview from simply applying online. I actually received my offer before even applying online to my internship for this summer.
I've got 2 BB interviews and a MM interview by just applying online and I am a non target.

OP, sounds like they already have filled the positions you're applying for and haven't taken the posting down or something. I applied to CS and it took a few weeks before I saw a change in my application status, and this was months ago.
Maybe they're already filled, but these job openings were posted this month and I thought my background would warrant an interview (at least for one of them). I had multiple accounts using different email addresses throughout the past on the website with possibly different information or something. I think this could be a reason as well. They can easily check for your duplicate accounts right?

I might add to all you folks i had interviews at some big firms (goldman, jp, Citi, wells, Barclays, Jefferies, SocGen) all IB just from applying online only so dont listen to these fools.
I will still never understand how anyone gets an interview through an online application unless you have a 3.9+ with a 2350+. There's just too many applications for too few spots.
3.8 and 2170 (34 ACT), no connections, didn't even follow the WSO PWM->Boutique IB->MM/BB SA path. I swear to god people on this site just regurgitate information they see without any first hand experience, and this is just another one of those things they repeat.
Credit Suisse have a shitty online application in my opinion. Are you sure you're not getting auto dinged on anything? Does it give you the option of doing online tests straight after like it does for Europeans?
I'm pretty sure I was auto dinged based on my school alone as it didn't appear on their list and I had to select other if I remember
They could be screening for a particular skillset. For example, they want graduates from x-type of school who had a major in y or took courses in econometrics and stochastic statistics. They could be searching only for a certain class standing, as well.
