Asia Pacific - Why exclude Japan
I notice that a lot of banks / financial institutions exclude Japan from their Asia Pacific region.
Why is this so?
And also is fluency in Japanese a must for working in an multinational bank/financial institution there?
caus japanese are way too horny compared to other asian countries
Japan is a part of most banks asia pac divison, but for banking/sales/trading its put in its own category. this is because asia-ex japan is still considered emerging, while japan is the most developed economy/market behind the us.
so, in other words "asia pac" business does include japan, but they are seprated for pretty good reasons. youll notice at most banks they divisions still work very closely together.
per your question on language. Fluency, or even profficiency is not needed to work in HK or Tokyo. Iw ould guess that the majority of westerners there do not speak any japanese...But, for a japanese person to work at one of the multinationals in japan, they are usualyl required to be able to speak english..
