Baird Insight
Title essentially says it all, does anyone have insight on the Barid interview process, recruiting cycle, or the core schools they recruit at.

bump, any insight would be greatly appreciated
Wash U-STL, Northwestern, UW Madison, Miami Ohio, Notre Dame, among others. Great firm, great exposure, great leadership, not-so-great hours. However, last two years or so there hasn't been much recruiting outside of the SA class.
Interview mostly fit, some technicals but nothing you wouldn't expect. A very fair process
Thanks
feel free my man!
any idea on how non-target friendly they are?
To provide some clarity for future readers, Baird's HQ is in Milwaukee, WI. Thus, they recruit heavily from schools in the Midwest region.
The firm's HQ is Milwaukee, but the IB side is run out of Chicago with satellite offices across the US/world.
Had a first round interview with them, it was mostly fit based questions. Asked a few basic technical and that was about it.
Hey folks (Sirc ) Has anyone heard back yet regarding 2nd round interviews and superdays? I had a phone screen with them last week and they said someone would reach out this week, but I haven't yet heard anything.
Just got an email for a second round, is it supposed be a mix of fit/techs again?
I haven't heard back although my recruiter is out of town for now. We'll see how it goes soon.
Has any office opened applications besides Chicago?
Baird has 3 regional offices that take interns, DC, Tampa and St. Louis. I was told by a contact that they won't taking apps until August.
dang that's super late
They also take MKE and Chicago for 2019 and currently taking apps
Bump, does anyone know when their next superday is?
bump... has anyone gotten a superday invite?
Had a super day yesterday in MKE office.
So i applied quite awhile ago but i just got an email talking about a video interview today. did that happen to anyone else?
Which office/division did you apply to?
bump - would really appreciate any insight
Same! I went through most of the hiring process for a FT role. I interviewed and completed a case study and was told I was "eligible" for a super day. Haven't heard anything since and its been 3-4 weeks. They last said they arent hosting a superday for a while due to hiring needs, but not sure if this is their way of softly rejecting or if there is still hope for something in the next few months.
How long did it take you to hear that you were eligible for the super day after you submitted the case study?
I submitted the case study on a Monday and heard back that Thursday-Friday.
I have a case study with them this week. What should I expect?
