Bank of America Merrill Lynch S&T Interview
super day is coming up. Has anyone interviewed with BAML? I had a phone interview which was completely behavioral.
What has your past experience been with BAML Super Day?
Thanks
Do A search.
I asked the same question during interview time last year and a solid thread was developed.
Best of Luck.
is this for ft or summer?
Summer internship
How have you already gotten an interview? Don't interviews happen in January? I havn't heard of any BAML accelerated processes
@ ambition - It's strictly for students who are/will be studying abroad
oh okay that make sense... thanks !
Help preparing for BoA ML S&T Interview?? (Originally Posted: 01/22/2013)
Hello all. Wow, so weird recruiting season. Got rejected from a lot for a first round interview. Got less priority to interview at some places than others (basically a back-up interview if one of the preferreds don't take it) through my campus career services at Cornell.
I got a Global Sales & Trading interview coming up for Merrill Lynch though. I do not, do not, do not want to screw this up. It's the best one I got. The rest are some boutiques and some commercial banking thing through M&T Bank. Tomorrow is when I sign up for it. Now is it better to sign up for earlier interviews or later interviews? Some people say earlier cause the interviewer will be awake, yet I think when I get them more exhausted, and am like the last one seen I could potentially be more memorable.
Also, hair, is this appropriate for an interview? Similar to how mine is?: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-E-Fm6p8K7HY/UBT4ThiErNI/AAAAAAAACYA/EdAluPTUl…
Suit, left my solid black one at home. Have a black pin-striped, still nice.
Uhh, any references for how to prepare? I really want this internship. Thanks guys.
Oh, just thought of it, Patrick Bateman is also a great example for how my hair is! This may all seem arbitrary but I do hear very detailed opinions on "dress and appearance" for interviews.
Depends on how you pull that hair off. SOme guys pull it off smoothly, some guys look like a stoner, judgement call on your part.
As long as its not an obnoxious pinstripe it should be fine.
really it's more the vibe, if you're not george jung or patrick bateman it's gonna be hard to do.
