Banking Lifestyle at Smaller Boutiques
So I was curious to know what is the lifestyle/working hours for analysts at Florida-based banks including Crosstree, Hyde Capital, Cross Keys Capital etc. Any inputs from our peeps here? Thanks in advance!

gogetit, bummer your thread hasn't had a response yet. Sometimes bots are smarter than humans anyways:
You're welcome.
Defiantly not as stringent as NYC/SF. Easier work life balance but not a walk in the park either. Do have the occasional late late nights just not on a constant basis like you see with some of the NY kids
Not bad at all...although not located in Florida, at my boutique you can make six figures while rarely working weekends.
Bump. Anyone know the comp for a bank like this?
Doing my sophomore internship at a small boutique rn...and the analysts are being worked to the bone with below street comp.
What's the hour like?
100+ per week for the FT analysts. For me, its much less.
I’m not at any of the banks you mentioned but I’m at a low tier / relatively unknown bank as an associate 1 so can offer my insight into what it is like at one of these type of firms
culture: 100x better than BB/EBs
hours: 50-60 hours per week when quiet/not on live deal and around 70+ hours when on a live deal. No weekend work.
pay: total comp is around 30% below market standard. Pretty fair trade off considering the better work life balance and culture
What does comp look at more senior levels (guessing analyst is same 30% cut)? Also, does in house promotion happen or is there less room?
Also, by 100x times better culture what exactly is so great?
Hoe many deals are you generally staffed on?
