Barclays Financial Sponsors Questions

I have seen a lot of threads on how FSG's role with the model, day to day activities, involvement in the exits, etc. is highly dependent on the bank. However, I have not seen anyone comment on how the group operates at Barclays. If anyone knows, do analysts in the group get some modeling experience, or is it mainly a relationship manager role? Would love to hear anyone's insight on anything regarding the role of the analyst and the quality of Barclays' FSG exits vs. other banks.

Sponsors group does a good amount of modeling at Barclays: 1. They fly solo on a decent amount of deals involving sponsors 2. If teamed with a coverage group, the sponsors team will often run the model

Note my knowledge is largely based on connections with the LA Sponsors group. They also placed pretty well in the most recent class (again, anecdotal evidence).

Thanks for the feedback. Would love to hear if anyone knows about the NYC office
