M&A Associate to PE Recruiting Steps
Hi All,
I recognize that this is a rare / tough move to make, but I'd love to hear from those of you who have made this move or know people who did. Specifically, it would be great to know what steps were followed and if there is any helpful advice you can share. If you came in as an associate (post analyst hire), what were those conversations like and generally how did you overcome the hurdle of being a non-traditional candidate?

Just out of curiosity, why do you want to leave BB M&A? It's a great place to be and I presume you get to work on some very interesting / large transactions?
