Do you want to consulting or do you like the prestige of working at an MBB firm?

Why switch to consulting when you are committed to banking next summer? Why not get a consulting internship for next summer and see if you like it?

One question you will get is why switch from banking to consulting? They both attract the same types of smart people, but they are different professions.

Needs more information. e.g. Is your GPA >3.5 and if so by how much, where was your corp fin experience e,g was it F500, what startup exp did you have eg was it well funded, how much of a nontarget is your school, do you have any extracurricular leadership exp and if so to what extent, etc.

Just given what you described above, it will still be an uphill climb but you have a shot if you network well, make sure resume looks good and have a good narrative for switching.
