Best Suit Colors for Dark-Skinned People?

So basically, I'm in an asian country right now and my parents are letting me get a couple of tailor-made suits from here since the overall cost will still be cheaper than buying one in the US, and it will fit me perfectly. I'm curious though as to what colors I should get given that I'm dark skinned (I've got a dark brown hue but I'm not totally dark) and that I'm quite short and skinny? I added the short and skinny part in case certain colors better suit a shorter frame.

I will be using these suits for interviews, so I'd also like them to be acceptable colors in the workplace (sorry, but no Lloyd Christmas Orange suit, orange top hat combos), but I'm guessing you already knew that.

Thanks for the help

Is a dark brown (not the light tan) color also acceptable, or would that be a bit riskier/less professional? So basically, I take it that I should get navy blue and charcoal gray for sure, but I would like to second george_costanza's question about getting solid or pinstripes in these colors.

I would avoid brown suits since they are seen as less professional than the usual gray & navy. Regarding pinstripes, do not get solid white pinstripes. Discreet blue pinstripes on a navy suit or light grey on a dark grey suit can work fine.

Finally, regarding pairing a suit with one's color: with a darker skin you will want to create some contrast between your clothes (and your skin) to accentuate your face. My advice would be to get a traditional suit but and to wear it with clean, white shirts.
