Out of the schools listed below, where does BX recruit?

Shalom!
Unrelated, but I love your name and avatar.
I have not heard of Blackstone doing OCR at UT Austin
Can confirm they are at Harvard and Wharton for sure, as well as absent at NYU.
pretty sure they only take online resume drops from Cornell and Georgetown.
I know that in last year's class, Notre Dame sent one to RX. This year, 2 are going to M&A and one is going to PE.
OCR at Duke.
wharton and harvard are by far their favorites
No he's right. I work/used to work at BX. They send 3-5 teams to each of those schools for on campus interviews. Not saying they don't hire from other schools or don't do OCR elsewhere, but those two are their top targets.
Berk always has 1 in Menlo M&A.
Many thanks my fellow Yids!
OCR at UVA for M&A and AM, but not RX (just a job listing, no on-campus interviews)
.
Blackstone created an RX posting on NYU's career site and interviewed many people (not technically OCR). No offers were extended. Seems like semi-target for RX and non-target for PE/M&A (very few people received interviews).
I heard there is at least one BX RX from a NYU honor frat
Blackstone PE only does on-campus interviews at harvard and wharton, but they have hired a few from other ivies such as yale/princeton/dartmouth. RX interviews at i think almost all the ivies+maybe a few others. M&A is the least selective; they do ocr at top publics such as michigan, texas, uva, berkeley.
they do OCR for M&A/RX/PE at Georgetown - can confirm that they have given at least one offer for this summer in each of the three divisions (yes, including PE)
They do OCR at Michigan (Ross) and come to campus to interview.
Last I heard R&R does full OCR at Harvard, Wharton, Yale, and Duke and resume drops at Michigan, Duke, and Princeton. The incoming FT class is all Harvard and Wharton with one UMich and one Cornell. Incoming SA are all Harvard and Wharton with one Duke and one from somewhere else that I don't remember.
Okay I'm sorry for being stupid but are you all talking about OCR for undergrad or for MBA students? Because I was under the impression Blackstone is purely PE and PE doesn't hire straight out of undergrad.
BX PE does directly hire straight out of undergrad for both SA and FT positions for their PE Analyst program. BX Restructuring and BX M&A Advisory also both hire straight out of undergrad for both SA and FT positions. All three programs are extremely competitive and class sizes tend to be smaller at ~6-8 people (which is why they can afford to be extremely selective in their hiring process and tend to favor students from Wharton/Harvard. They can have their cake and eat it too)
BC? PC?
Key words: "out of"
Blackstone does OCR here at Northwestern for REPE and BREDS. 2-3 summer analysts every summer, the rest are all Harvard/Wharton kids for REPE/BREDS.
R & R F/T analyst class is almost all Harvard & Wharton. I think there is a guy from Yale too. Have not seen any other schools represented at R & R for f/t.
Anyone know where the full M&A class is coming from?
I know 1 person personally who is a first year analyst from USC at Blackstone LA (I think in real estate). Probably connections, Wharton and Harvard are by far best
This entire thread looks like speculation. The secret sauce (works for every firm) is going on the company's page on LinkedIn, clicking on the 'People' tab and doing research from there.
Former student at Brown. They don't come on campus, but they do have a resume drop for us and take 1/2 kids a year.
Ik Stern they do resume drops and they always take around 1 kid each year.
They usually take ~1 kid a year from Indiana as well
