Bloomberg Wiz Needed
Hello, could use a quick tip. Not sure if this is possible, but I have a list of calls that i want historical pricing for. Does anyone know how to get historical pricing for each call going back three months in table format and export to excel rather than looking up each individual call? The list is about 120 calls. Hoping that there might be a way to do this without a third party plug in.
SPY 9/10 C115 Equity
SPY 6/10 C110 Equity
SPY 3/10 C105 Equity
SPY 12/9 C90 Equity...
This is when you hit help help twice and wait two days for the help desk to answer. I think what you'll have to do is pull a formula like BDH or something into excel for each call and drag down. I would google or search bloomberg formulas on excel. also or something like that has all the excel templates too, you might be able to find something. If you wanted to pull a few individual calls then just load the identification and and you got your graph. Good luck
You can just use the Bloomberg Excel Add-in. If you are on a Bloomberg machine, Excel should have it installed as an add-in already. Just use the Import function.
just tried the import function (DAPI) but for some reason it will only pull active options and not historical/expired options. This is strange because on the terminal you can pull it just by typing in "SPY 3/10 C105 Equity".
