Bnpp is growing and one of the strongest European banks atm, Macquarie is great in infrastructure but aside from that they aren't doing that well recently had 70 layoffs in nyc. The choice is very clear to me

Bnpp runs a way bigger operation in North America than Macquarie dude, check your info before giving out misleading information, anecdotally they pay better too, I interviewed there a while back for lateral hire

Dont know about exit opps but I have friends in both firms. My friends hate the culture at BNP not much deal flow (though I'm sure its group dependent) and pay is below street. Would not take

In NY that's probably not much of a difference, though BNP is slightly better I'd say.

In Europe BNP hands down - they're among the top banks in Continental Europe (but kinda suck in the UK but still better than Macquarie). Don't know much about pay though.
