BNP Paribas vs Macquarie

I have received offers from the above for SA 2021 and I am looking for any advice on which offer to take – BNP Paribas M&A New York or Macquarie (Mac Cap) New York?

Any advice is much appreciated.

Bnpp is growing and one of the strongest European banks atm, Macquarie is great in infrastructure but aside from that they aren’t doing that well recently had 70 layoffs in nyc. The choice is very clear to me

Yeah but this is NYC, and Macquarie is better than BNP in NYC. Different story in Europe

Bnpp runs a way bigger operation in North America than Macquarie dude, check your info before giving out misleading information, anecdotally they pay better too, I interviewed there a while back for lateral hire

In NY that's probably not much of a difference, though BNP is slightly better I'd say.

In Europe BNP hands down - they're among the top banks in Continental Europe (but kinda suck in the UK but still better than Macquarie). Don't know much about pay though.

Bnp is only bank that has 30 days of PTO a year. I have a friend who got an offer. They are really big on work life balance (especially as European bank). That’s the only thing I know
