BNY Mellon Finance Internship

I have an upcoming interview this week at BNY Mellon NYC office. I wanted to know more if this was considered more middle office or back office?

The position just says Finance Internship.

The job description is as follows.

Responsibilities and Qualifications can include:
* Perform research and analysis to provide management with financial data and recommendations for use in short-term and strategic planning and reporting
* Prepare financial and accounting policies, reports and statements
* Perform financial accounting or systems analyses to assist management in measuring and evaluating departmental and corporate performance
