Can somebody help me with financial modeling projection?

Hi guys,

I am a senior who is doing a case study for the second round interview(research position.)

I have not much experience in financial modeling so that I have the problem with the projection. (Balance sheet does not balance at all. maybe the assumption is the problem)

Can someone please help with it? I do not want to miss this chance for my career.

Thank you for your time

It's hard to say without looking at it.

Basically you just have to go line by line and see what is going on.

First, I prefer to see by how much my BS is off by and then peruse the figures to see if it matches something (sort of a quick and dirty way to check). But if that doesn't work, back to above and just walking through it again.

Sucks, I know.

"They are all former investment bankers that were laid off in the economic collapse that Nancy Pelosi caused. They have no marketable skills, but by God they work hard."

I would be willing to also take a look at it. Provided that I'm also a college student but I've built a few models in my day (I'm interning at an investment bank) so I might be able to figure out why it won't balance. If anything I could ask my colleagues to take a look at it Monday when I get back to work if you don't figure it out by then. Let me know.
