Worked across from them in banking. With a few exceptions, everyone is in NYC...I think there are a few energy people in Houston and one ex-THL guy in LA from what I remember. I got the sense that hours were something in the 70-80 ballpark and I don't have a good sense of comp but I would imagine it's in the $250-300 range at the associate level, similar to some of the other MF credit arms.

 

Thanks, SBed. I was curious because I’m trying to gauge which MFs have the best ratio of hours & comp. I’d imagine they’d be about the same, but Apollo has a bad reputation so likely wouldn’t be worth a few extra $$$.

 

This seems pretty low from what I've heard… analysts nowadays getting hired into MF credit/distressed arms are getting ~200-225k all in right out of undergrad. Associates are definitely north of 300k

 

If you have data on BXPE figures for analysts I would appreciate the data point. P
