CFA VS Networking for Breaking into ER

Big 4 cpa here trying to break into ER. Unfortunately not in a advisory/valuation group so I understand this is quite difficult. Just finished up a modeling course. Is my time better off spent networking and sharpening my modeling skills? Or should I put the time in and go the CFA route?

I think you're better building serious stock pitches and then networking with it. You need to show you're able to do the job and have good ideas.

Thanks for the response. I'd agree. Prob will build out my own reports and send them around when networking
