Where to find distressed legal docs?
Hi guys:
I'm trying to learn distressed / restructuring but don't have access to Reorg Research or Debtwire on the job. I know Reorg does a good job of aggregating documents and filings on its website, but these are public anyway. Are there other websites that aggregate these data, or do I have to go to court's public website to get them now?
Thanks!
.
Bump!
Why don't you just go out and get laid?
What are "distressed legal docs". Legal docs are not distressed.
Credit agreements and indentures you should know where to find if you are in PE. If you are looking for bankruptcy dockets, Prime Clerk et al manage a public docket. Google "hertz docket" and it will be the first link.
You won't find Reorg's analyses publicly, there's a reason those memberships cost upwards of 50k a person a year.
Sign up for a reorg trial and pull everything you need. It's cheaper to churn a fresh domain multiples times a year when you need their service lol
Like the other guy said, for BK filings, just find the claims agent for the case (Prime Clerk, Stretto, BMC, etc.) and they should have the filings organized and publicly available.
