Citi FT Start Date 2020
Any word on Citi FT start date? We were originally scheduled to start 7/7 but haven't received any updates yet. No emails regarding virtual training or background checks either.
Anyone have any insight??

Nada my friend. thought we’d have done background checks at least. Drug tests?... Maybe closer to the start date...Maybe not at all. Who knows if they’ll consider something like that necessary during a pandemic.
My gut instinct tells me the July start will not change due to training for certifications/exams. It just seems like it would be too much work to change that from their end when we can just have instruction over zoom. I hope I’m wrong because I actually wouldn’t mind a delayed start
So if the July start stays intact it's definitely going to be virtual right? Any chance we'll be in the office physically in July?
Spoke with HR a few days ago. Once everything regarding SA has been sorted out they will tell us what to do next. He told me to not get a lease and to stay put. He said that updates will come closer to the date but for now to do nothing.
If you're told to stay put then they're most likely considering making at least the 1st month of work virtual. Probably won't be in the office until mid-August to September seems like.

I would also like to know when we are going to receive a background check and drug test info?
From what I hear, all of you analysts might be delayed a little bit - but you will all be fine, dont worry

also interested, wish hr can provide more info but understand that they're busy during a time like this. New York seems to be reopening up by regions / areas though Manhattan is not anywhere close.

August 10th start date per HR email. Assuming this means training will start August 10th. What do you guys think?
