If you work in London and are 45+ you can do it. I've only seen older (60+) men in NYC wear them in the states.

Only if you are also wearing a top hat, carrying a cane, and charging folks $2000 for landing on your hotel on Boardwalk.

In all seriousness, you can probably get away with rocking a sweater-vest in the winter, but a three-piece suit looks a bit off for a professional.

If you're a big shot, sure go ahead. If you're small time, fuggedaboutit.

By the way, Shia Labeouf looked like such a tool whenever he was wearing some stupid vest, pocket square, etc. He's 24 years old, he should be punched in the mouth.

I enjoy taking every opportunity to bash various aspects of that movie.

I like three-piece suits, I do not wear it to office but i do wear it to parties with formal dress code. But I am talking from my experience from India. UK or USA , it may tell a different story altogether

LOL Wall Street 2 was written by some idiot who basically combined every financial meltdown cliche phrase in existance. It was the must horrendous POS movie about the finance world I've ever seen. Even the lead actress (Gekko's daughter) was some hideous boy-looking troll. As for 3-piece suits, they're now worn by the 50+ crowd and douchebaggy wanna-bes...and our chocolate brethren.
