Is cold e-mailing worth it and if so how should I go about it and what are some key things to say/ask?

Cold emailing for what? If it’s just networking everyone is going to say yes.
I cold emailed an MD at a BB and got a phone chat out of it. that might lead to something. so, yes networking is worth it.
