COLLEGE OPTIONS (USC worth the debt?)
Hello everyone,
I am debating between colleges and looking for advice. I have been accepted to Marshall at USC (without scholarship money) and ASU with nearly a full ride. I was wondering if the debt from USC is worth it. If I work my ass off at ASU, will I have the same chances as attending USC? Any information will help. Thank you.

ASU has a pretty poor reputation as an EZ-mode remedial party school. On top of that, you’d have to live in Arizona. Did you apply to more schools?
ASU places around a handful every year - spread across various banks. Are you in the Honors College?
USC is a target for the So-Cal area.... and your branding is extremely strong, but only if you are planning to stay in the LA area. If you want to move to a different state, I am not so sure that USC would be worth the ~$200k+
Yea I got into the honors college, and I would have about over $100k in debt. So I do not know if USC will be able to provide me whether a better job at a better firm compared to ASU.
Save your money and just invest in networking. ASU is working on building its reputation in business (MBA scholarships ect.).
IMO the debt isnt worth it, especially cus you're in high school - you really don't know what you want to do with your life. Plus Mill Ave is a lot cheaper than anything in LA and Phoenix/Tempe/Scottsdale is actually a pretty sweet city.
A bit more work could save you 100k, not a bad hourly wage for a college kid. Fear the fork and go to the pool parties.

Man forget IB, ASU has THEE hottest girls in the entire country. Yes, better than USC.
Lol but In all honesty if you’re still pre college you should be able to do it. Get that freshman / sophomore year boutique on your resume and network hard. I know I networked with an ASU guy that worked at Citi and is now in PE
