Colleges Where Students Are Hot And Smart

So as most people have probably heard by now, Bloomberg BusinessWeek released their rankings of the top undergrad business schools on Wednesday. However, Business Insider also released their own (arguably more important) list today:

Colleges Where The Students Are Both Hot And Smart

1. BYU
2. Pacific Union College
3. University of Virginia
4. Georgetown
5. Vanderbilt
6. Howard University
7. Colgate
8. Stanford
9. Santa Clara University
10. Boston College

A couple of the colleges from the BusinessWeek list make an appearance here: apparently UVA, BYU, BC, Gtown and Vandy are the place to be.

Any thoughts/confirmation on this?

Business Insider:
"Many knock UGA as a party school. We're well rounded, but let there be no mistake. UGA has become more selective 15 out of 16 straight years Michael Adams has been president. Our 2016 student profile is outstanding."

"The University of Georgia is not really a big drug college. Alcohol is more likely the only thing that kids tend to struggle with since UGA is one of the top party schools in Georgia. Peer pressure is not something that happens for the most part. Either certain people do or they just don't.

Business Insider:
If caught drinking under-aged their are definitely consequences and they are definitely reinforced!"

their?! lol wtf business insider ... I think you mean "there" ... wow

"If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them." - Bruce Lee

LHDan:
BYU should be taken off the list. Even if the women are actually very attractive, you're going to have to marry one (or two) to enjoy it.
Could you imagine if someone took this list seriously and enrolled? They're thinking, "Damn, I'm going to slay at BYU.". Then they get there and 3/4 the girls are married at 19, the rest are ugly Bettys who couldn't find a husband yet.

This was my first thought. What the hell.

And Pacific Union College stretches the definition of "smart". I actually had to google it, and it turns out I grew up about an hour away. Average Total SAT (middle 50%): 1320-1740

I'd nominate SMU. Girls there are gorgeous.

Cornell. I am serious.

What kind of shwag have you been smoking?

Every girl I've met and seen on LinkedIn is a slampiece.

Here to learn and hopefully pass on some knowledge as well. SB if I helped.

This list is invalid for two reasons: -UCLA is not in the top 10. -Santa Clara is ahead of UCSB.

That is all.

Bingo.

UCLA is top 10 if you consider skinny & nerdy 4' Asian girls hot.

Lololol are you kidding me? I see that your tag says crimsontide so I will give you the benefit of the doubt that you have been to bama but what are you talking about? I have been to both Ole Miss and Bama and their girls are amazing (especially Ole Miss). Maybe smart is what your talking about..?

Massachusetts women are about the most physically unappealing women on planet Earth. I question Boston College's presence on this list. I also question the intellect of someone who would pay an Ivy League tuition rate for a state university level education...

Forgetting a lot here - Texas, USC, Michigan, SMU (many other similar schools I'm afraid to list because of contempt people have for non-targets). These are all schools that are largely non-target but still provide a good education and have a great social scene. These schools are sort of like the Elite Boutiques of universities - better balance with cost of brand name.

Ivy league schools/top 20 schools have massive concentrations of nerds who will balk at the sight of alcohol and run from members of the opposite sex (biggest examples CalTech, MIT, UChicago). Hope to avoid those schools if you are someone who enjoys life.

mbavsmfin:

Amongst b-schools: HBS, Wharton, Kellogg, Columbia, Darden, Fuqua, Anderson

the women aren't that attractive at any business school, and the handful that are, are in a relationship. I can think of less than a dozen attractive and single girls at Kellogg, and they're being pursued by a dozen guys each. There's certainly a bunch of "office pretty" type of girls though....very few girls are ugly.

Why do you guys care about students who are both hot and smart already? When it's college, you, in my opinion, shouldn't be vying for a relationship anyways. Bang some slampieces by all means, but smartness isn't something to be all that concerned about yet.
